Lakeside is home to our three courses, Lake, Ocean and Cliffs. Residing on rolling hills between Lake Merced and the Pacific Ocean, Lakeside provides active and vibrant golf programs for all members.


Situated along the 17th and 18th fairways of the Lake Course, the tennis center provides tennis to all level players from USTA league play to member and social events, lesson programming and a comprehensive junior program.


The City Club offers several floors of state of the art weight and aerobic equipment, cycling machines and treadmills plus a broad spectrum of classes - including yoga, water conditioning, cardio-fit, pilates, studio cycling, and abs.


Considered to have the best private athletic club leagues in the country Olympic Club offers four levels of men’s and women’s league play. The competitive environment includes AAU, inter and intra-club competition. For youth basketball the programs are unsurpassed with camps and competition.


The goal of the cycling program is to promote competitive racing teams and provide opportunities for male and female recreational and competitive riders. The program includes riders who compete in multiple categories from Category 4 to Category 1.


Fostering fitness, competition and encouraging play, men, women and youth compete in in-house events, home & homes, local and regional tournaments. Four beautiful handball courts are in demand at the City Clubhouse.


The highly competitive men’s lacrosse team has won the NCLA and State Championships in 2001, 2003, 2006 + 2011. Women’s lacrosse is a new and competitive program, which debuted in 2011. It promises to be another winning Olympic Club team.


The Olympic Club’s men’s rugby competes at the highest level in the traditional 15’s rugby and the 7’s rugby. The cornerstones of the program - establishing strong leadership, coaching, recruiting dedicated and successful players, utilizing quality facilities and creating an enjoyable experience for players and family.


The Olympic Club has a strong group of co-ed participants including world-class long distance runners, triathletes and everyday recreational runners. In addition to the 6am group, which can be seen coursing the hills of San Francisco, the Winged ‘O ‘can be seen at the front of many local events.

Ski & Snowboard

Back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back: five league titles in five years. The team includes men, women and youth who compete in handicapped races grouping racers in multiple skill levels. Also, special opportunities exist for family members to compete together.


Strong, determined, dedicated. The men and women of Olympic Club field highly competitive teams in the San Francisco Football Leagues. The women’s team has captured six consecutive and seven overall Premiere League Titles.


The Olympic Club men’s softball program began in 1990 with ten members playing in the local San Francisco leagues, however, as member participation increased and as team play improved, the Club expanded its presence to the state and national level.


The Olympic Club offers one of only three doubles squash courts in the Bay Area where men, women, mixed and youth compete in local and regional competitions as well as casual games with other members. The program boasts the reigning national 12 year old youth champion.


More than 25 world records have been set by Olympic Club members and over 80 records in Masters Swimming. The rough water swimmers annually brave the waters of Lake Tahoe and the Maui Channel. The men, women and youth teams from the Club enjoy two beautiful pools at the City Clubhouse.


The goal of the program is to increase the visibility of the Winged ‘O’, promote competitive racing on a championship level, and make the sport of Triathlon more "user friendly". The co-ed participants compete in all three of swimming, running and cycling or form a relay team with a different athlete for each event.

Water Polo

Men’s and women’s water polo are highly competitive, focusing on inter-club competition. The program is dominated by athletes who have participated at the intercollegiate level at one of the top ten Water Polo programs in the country.
