Corporate Social Responsibility Report

A Connected Culture

The Olympic Club is proud to release our 2016 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report “A Connected Culture” which highlights our social and environmental sustainability initiatives, achievements and goals.

“At The Olympic Club, our history has shown a long-term commitment to our community and there is no doubt our future will continue to do so. We will foster continued growth towards a more sustainable environment at our Club.” – John Espiritu, President.

The report provides data with supporting examples of our efforts impacting areas that include: community, biodiversity, environment, diversity and inclusion, health and safety, governance and partnerships. The report was developed using the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) G4 guidelines and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, two widely recognized sustainability reporting frameworks. IMPACT360 Sports, an independent third-party, worked with us to develop the report, identifying key metrics and focus areas, in addition to communications, marketing, CSR training and development.

I am pleased with the efforts of our staff, members and partners in continuously striving to make a positive impact.
Regards,
Pat Finlen
