The members of the 2015 Women’s Basketball Team represent the best that OC basketball has to offer. Many were founding members of the women’s basketball program in 2008, which exploded onto the scene with both Pacific Coast and National titles in their inaugural season. The team continued to dominate over the next decade, winning Pacific Coast titles in 2008–2010, 2012–2013 and 2015-2019, as well as almost every National championship played from 2008–2018, losing only once in 2012.

The 2015 team was the culmination of years of hard work and diligent recruiting, featuring a solid mix of veterans and then-OC rookies with college and professional résumés. The team faced pressure from the start — they were the overwhelming favorites going into the season as the defending champions who had dominated the previous year with an average margin of victory of 14.3 points per game.
“I expect a lot from myself and my squad this year…we cannot wait to compete,” women’s league MVP and star defender Jazmine Jackson told the Olympian before the season.
They played up to the challenge. They didn’t lose a game that year, winning by over 10 points a game with a combination of high volume scoring and stifling defense. Sarah Jordan was the leading scorer at the national club championship, with 55 points, 16 in the final; Jackson followed with 36. Of the 10 women on this team, half are still active players, with four currently serving within the Club’s committee and commissioner system. They have paved the way for the next generation of OC women’s basketball.
