The 9th hole features a downhill tee shot to a fairway that slopes right to left and requires a fade off the tee to keep the ball in the fairway. A new bunker was added on the left side of the fairway, about 220 yards off the tee. At that point, there is a slight side hill lie that requires a mid to short iron. A second shot must be short left of the hole to have a straight uphill putt. Bunkers short left and right guard the slightly-elevated green.
